It's me again!
Priyal

/PREE・yahl/

I bridge UX and graphic design to craft experiences that are intuitive, visually compelling, and strategically aligned with business goals across B2B and B2C.

My Super Powers

Storytelling

I simplify complex design decisions by crafting compelling narratives that align business goals with user needs.

Structure

With a knack for organization, I bring clarity to messy problems and structure to the undefined.

Cross-Functional Translator

My engineering and marketing background allows me to speak the languages of PMs, devs, and marketers to make design an inclusive process.

Curious Investigator

Having previously worked as a user researcher, I can ask the right questions and dig deeper into user behavior to inform design.

Chapters

Chapter 1

Flourish · Digital Designer · 2019

My first job was just shapes, color, and a launch deadline. Sitting next to the sales team taught me what actually makes a poster sell something, and gave me a craft instinct I still rely on.

Chapter 2

Radixweb · UX Designer · 2020–2021

Here, "looks good" met "works well." I ran workshops to map how people really used our tools, rebuilt the information architecture around it, and ended up owning an e-commerce site end to end, pushing traffic up 30%. UX and UI stopped feeling like separate jobs.

Chapter 3

Chartwells Higher Ed. (UMBC Dining) · Customer Experience Designer · 2021–2022

Running social for a college dining program meant competing with TikTok for attention. I learned to design for short attention spans and instant feedback, my first real lesson in designing for a brand.

Chapter 4

GoDaddy · Product Designer (Internship) · 2022

GoDaddy gave me the whole problem, not just a piece of it: research, wireframes, visual design, branding. I dug into pain points across 20+ commerce pages and defended the fix in front of a 15 person UX team. It's when I started feeling like a designer.

Chapter 5

University of Maryland, Baltimore County · User Researcher · 2022–2023

Grad school pulled me back to research, watching toddlers interact with robots across two longitudinal studies and 50+ families. What stuck wasn't the data; it was watching a child's trust in a machine shift in real time. I presented it at the 2023 ADSA Conference, but the real lesson was personal.

Chapter 6

Maryland Early Childhood Leadership Program · Digital Designer · 2022–2023

Alongside research, I designed for early childhood educators who hadn't opted into "branding." Webinars, social content, a website that needed to feel inviting instead of intimidating. Sometimes good design means making something feel smaller than it is.

Chapter 7

Optipak · UX & Graphics Designer · 2024–Present

Research, visuals, and strategy stopped feeling like separate skills here. I redesigned a B2B SaaS CRM site, lifting conversions 30%, cutting task time 20%, and driving 200+ organic leads through the campaigns alongside it. Five years of looking at problems from every angle finally came together.

In Others' Words

Paulo Müzel
Sr. Product Manager at GoDaddy

I had the privilege of working with Priyal while she interned at GoDaddy during the summer. Priyal’s proactive attitude and dedication to the craft really showed as she worked to identify blind spots in the product experience through extensive research as well as to come up with elegant solutions for them. Priyal is a deep thinker and has the skills to tackle tough end-to-end problems with nuanced designs - something that benefited the GoDaddy Commerce Team a great deal. Her approachable attitude, willingness to think outside the box, continuously learn and improve, paired with a solid grasp on the fundamentals made her a formidable designer, capable of tackling anything that came her way. Priyal made a big splash while at GoDaddy, and I’m confident she will continue to accomplish great things in her future endeavors.
